9/10Steam Creams - Valentines and Easter Editions
Written by Virginia Farrow

Get smooth and seductive skin in time for Valentine’s Day with these limited edition, handbag-sized moisturisers for face, body and hands from Steamcream.

Suitable for vegans, the new Steamcream moisturiser uses high quality, natural and traceable ingredients, sourced (in line with a strict ethical criteria) from suppliers who do not commission tests on animals. Using a steaming process to create a lightly textured oatmeal, cocoa butter and almond oil infusion, this moisturiser is easily absorbed into the skin leaving it soft, hydrated and delicately fragranced all day long.

Because it is made using simple, natural ingredients, the Steamcream moisturiser is gentle enough to use on all skin types. It uses healing and stimulating essential oils like lavender, chamomile and damask rose to protect and invigorate problem skin without irritation, and leaves you smelling gorgeous.

After application, I found the aromatherapy effects of the essential oils calmed my mind as well as my skin, and when applied in the evenings it helped me to relax into a deep, calm sleep. My skin felt smooth and velvety, without any clamminess or residue and remained that way all day; even problem areas like my dry t-zone felt quenched and soft despite the cold winds outside.

The Steamcream moisturiser comes in a variety of unusual eye-catching designs on superbly portable aluminium tins, and with Valentine’s Day rapidly approaching, there are several beautiful limited edition designs to emphasise your romantic side. My favourite design is Felicity, which has a transparent, heart shaped confetti design scattered all over the tin. Also available is a cute and funky Porky Rabbit design in time for Easter, which has a big fat pink rabbit on the front and makes me smile every time I look at it.

STEAMCREAM is available from £10.00 for 75g at John Lewis, Selfridges, Liberty and www.steamcream.co.uk
