This facial scrub has been designed by No.7’s skincare experts to cleanse deep into the pores, lifting out heavy-duty debris and reducing blackheads, whilst sloughing away dead and dull skin cells that reduce the skins natural lustre. It aims to maintain a flawless complexion, as well as a smoother surface to enable a closer shave.

This is a really thorough and refreshing scrub that had visible results immediately. It has a fine, gritty texture within the gel of the cleanser which, despite its intense effects, doesn’t leave you feeling sandpapered or raw, which is perfect for sensitive skin or those prone to shaving rashes.

After just one application, the skin is left feeling smooth, clean and moisturised. Even though it is an effective heavy-duty cleanser, it doesn’t strip the skin or leave any dry or patchy areas, and it has a subtle but masculine aroma that would compliment any cologne or aftershave. During application, you can feel the micro-particles grazing gently away at impurities whilst simultaneously cooling and toning the skins surface with a soothing menthol effect.
I would recommend using this only a couple of times a week, as it could strip your skin of natural oils if used too frequently, however, if you come into regular contact with heavy dirt or grease such as engine oil, this scrub is as effective at deep cleansing as Swarfega, and is far more pleasant to use.
