Beauty Tried & Tested: Revive Tinted Moisturiser

Revive Tinted Moisturiser
review by Sophie McMullan

A brand new and first cosmetic tinted moisturiser from high-end skincare line Revive with SPF15.
RéVive is a skincare range I’m familiar with and honestly, is one of the few where I’ve seen noticeable results. I’ve recommended it to friends and clients who’ve also given positive feedback.

A patented ingredient called EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) technologically increases cell renewal at an epidermal level.  This, combined with antioxidant Vitamin E rejuvenate the skin, is unique.

Devised by noted plastic surgeon Dr Gregory Bays Brown, a Nobel prize was awarded for the EGF ingredient.  Recognition by scientists of the highest level and honored in this way, he must really know his neutrons from electrons!  With so many ‘doctors’ being used to sell a pot of cream; I believe he’s a true innovator.

Hearing Revive were introducing a tinted moisturiser, I was eager to try it.  Being someone who’s into aesthetics, I wasn’t let down by the packaging.  A simple silver tube (50ml) with a pump dispenser, it looked sophisticated yet scientific.  A pump is always preferable, more hygienic than a pour or squeeze and definitely handbag friendly.  A tinted moisturizer should be designed for ease of use and transportable, good so far.

The sheer silky texture blended well into my skin.  It gave a natural healthy glow whilst still feeling fresh and light.  The hint of colour was perfect for my skintone, subtly covering any redness.  Being oil-free was also a bonus as having combination skin I dislike shiny finishes from similar bases.  Even if your skin is more on the dry side, you’ll benefit from hyaluronic acid and marine extracts to provide intensive moisturisation.

Anything that visibly improves my skin is a winner but the added bonus that it’s massively anti-ageing? A dream product!  It’s sure to be a sellout when it launches in May at SpaceNK, Libertys, John Lewis and Harrods.  With only 3 shades to choose from, it’s not a multi-toned minefield.  And with the price at a reasonable £55, I urge you to get on the waiting list now!
