Shan Rahimkhan is a multi-dimensional brand that comprises a hair salon, café and shop all under one roof in Berlin – known as the lifestyle concept store. After huge coverage in the German press, Rahimkhan has just been voted Germany’s Best Hairdresser. Following this, he launched his True Volume range in the UK - and I was excited to give my verdict.

I tried the Supreme Voluminizing Shine Shampoo and was really happy with the results. With naturally quite fluffy and thick hair, I find I have to straighten it to get rid of the fluffiness, which makes it look dull and flat. Although I have a natural wave to my hair, if I let it dry naturally I look like a poodle., so I often get rather frustrated when it comes to styling and maintaining my hair. I found this shampoo cleansed really well, but even more so I loved how it kept my hair looking thick and big without looking fluffy.  The smell of the product is natural and sweet, but not over-sickly, and my hair was left looking and feeling really healthy.

After rinsing off the shampoo, I sprayed in the Supreme Voluminizing Double Phase Leave-in Treatment. Putting on too much product can leave my hair looking and feeling greasy and overloaded, but this light, milky spray was perfect to moisturise and add volume to my hair. My tired hair drank up the liquid within minutes, and when drying my hair it was nice to not be able to feel the product in my hair, but instead just see the results. There’s nothing worse than overloading the hair with too much conditioner or leave-in spray and having to wash it straight back out, so this product was great for me as it allowed the desired result without the annoying residue that is often left behind.

The True Volume range includes 11 products designed for naturally fine hair. With ingredients including aloe vera, bamboo and quinoa , the products are a real delight for hair that needs some volume and attention. Although the range is designed for those with fine hair, I loved the outcome and would recommend it to everyone who wants healthy-looking, on-trend big hair for this season.
