Fabulous varnish brand O.P.I has launched a range of new varnishes exclusive to Boots.com. Featuring an impressive variety of 24 colours, the Nicole range has a colour for everyone. There are also six treatments including a nail strengthener and brightener treatment.

I tried Deeply in Love, Black Cat-Cha Later, It’s Possible, City-Pretty Rose and the Vitamin Plus nail treatment.

The varnishes were extremely easy to apply, and didn’t drag on uneven nails. They also dried quickly, and didn’t chip for days. I even tested my nails out on a sink full of washing up after a dinner party, and there was only slight chipping of the colour at the tips of my nails.

My friend Maria has acrylic nails, and took the bright pink City-Pretty Rose to her nail technician, who commented that the varnish was a dream to put on. It stayed on Maria’s acrylic nails for a long time, and when it did come off, it only slightly chipped at the edges and didn’t come off in large clumps like cheap varnishes can do.

The Vitamin Plus treatment is great as a base coat for lacquer, but also fantastic to wear alone. It provided a glossy look, and the treatment made my nails sleek and strong.
