Coconut Candy Scrub
It’s not often you’re told that you can actually eat your beauty products, so when the producers at Essential Care told me this scrub was so pure it was edible, I had to give a try! Aside from the fact it’s pretty tasty, I was really impressed with the results. Made with fair trade cane sugar and virgin coconut oil, this 100% organic scrub left my skin feeling super-soft. In fact, I didn’t feel the need to apply a separate moisturiser afterwards. The scrub smells delicious and is the perfect way to prep your skin before applying any tanning products this summer. Furthermore, its vegan friendly and the ingredients are organically grown and produced – what more could you ask for?

Power Berry Daily Moisture/Daily Facial Wash
I’ve heard plenty about the health benefits of eating goji berries, but have yet to come across them in a beauty product, until now that is. Organic beauty brand Neal’s Yard have developed the power berry range which they claim ‘Protects youthful skin against environmental aggressors and skin-ageing free radicals.’ The products are packed with antioxidant rich berries, including acai, goji, bilberry and blueberry.
The daily facial wash, like the moisturiser, contains no synthetic fragrances, parabens or phthalates. It left my skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated without drying it out which some facial washes can do. I followed with the daily moisture which was slightly runnier than my usual face cream. However, it was easily absorbed, had a pleasant scent and didn’t leave a greasy residue – I’m totally won over. After using both products together for a week, my skin is looking fresher and brighter than it has in some time.

Pacifica Brazilian Mango and Grapefruit Body Butter
If you like your body butter sweet smelling with a dash of a summer citrus, you’ll love Pacifica’s mango and grapefruit body butter. Seriously hydrating with a rich and creamy texture, the dry patches on my knees and elbows felt noticeably softer after the first use. Although the cream was thick, it absorbed quickly into my skin without feeling greasy or sticky. Containing shea butter, almond and safflower oils my skin was left smooth, with a real scent of summer.

Lush Cupcake Face Mask and Double Choc Lip Tint
Lush have yet again managed to produce a face mask that smells so good I want to eat myself up! Imagine a large bowl of chocolate cupcake batter and you’ll be somewhere close to Lush’s new cupcake face mask. Formulated to banish excess oil and calm breakouts, it contains linseed, cocoa powder and balancing peppermint. Dark brown in colour, I admit it was a little messy, but when you have the closest thing to chocolate smothered on your face, who cares! To finish off my chocolate night of pampering, I applied Lush’s double choc lip tint. The dinky little tin gave my lips a hint of colour and a smoother appearance. If you love chocolate, you’ll love Lush’s new chocolate inspired range.
