So, I am pretty late is discovering Nip & Fab. In fact I might never have found it at all if it wasn't for a recent report that says that not only is this 'tummy-fixing miracle cream' selling like super-hot cakes at Boots (with waiting lists that Mulberry would be proud of) but happy customers have been saying that it's just as effective on saggy parts of the face. Suddenly I'm interested – I love a double whammy! This multi-tasker sounds too good to pass up.
Obviously I realise that miracles don't really come in a tube and nothing but diet, extreme work-out and as a final resort, surgery, will reverse the ravages of time (and excessive living) but I have to say that after three weeks of diligent (if sparing – it's not a big tube for this two-pronged attack) use, Nip & Fab is beginning to live up to its hype. Combined with upping my aerobic work-outs (Zumba anyone?) this cool-feeling gel is definitely creating a smoothing looking stomach.
I don't expect it to make me smaller (not all by itself) but the toning and tightening effect of the active ingredients (caffeine and synephrine, which activate the breakdown of lipids in fat cells of the adipose tissue – that's body fat in other words) is certainly giving a slimmer, less wobbly effect. And the same is happening at my jawline. This is not an alternative to a face lift, but I can definitely detect a toning, tightening action.
The manufacturers, who have put Nip & Fab through clinical tests, say that six weeks use would show the best results. Which means I may have to put my name on that list. £18.95. From selected Boots stores nationwide and from www.nipandfab.com |
