Clarins has launched a beautifully clean range of skincare, aimed at the 18 to late 20s age group. With an ingredient list across the range including redcurrant, Vitamin C, Alechemilla (great at reducing imperfections and helping to promote a fresh, matte complexion),Turmeric, white tea, Gingko Biloba and Saponaria extract (a perennial herb with cleansing properties), the Daily Energizer range consists of an array of five products, each offering something different in your beauty regime.

The first product in the plant-based quintuplet is the Daily Energizer Wake-Up Booster (125ml, £15)

This little bottle of liquid gel that tones, refreshes and hydrates is great when used first thing in the morning to give life into baggy eyes and dull patches. I suffer from dry skin, so for me, this was a great little instant pick-me-up for my bedside table.
 
The Daily Energizer Cream (30ml, £19.50) and Daily Energizer Cream-Gel (30ml, £19.50), both offered great moisturisation for my dull skin, and the texture was great: it felt clean and was easy to apply.

Where some moisturisers can feel too weighty and thick, these glided onto the skin and left a clean, fresh finish. The cream targets normal to dry skin, whilst the cream-gel is best suited for normal to combination skin.
 
Hand-in-hand with the cream and cream-gel moisturisers is the Daily Energizer Lotion (30ml £19.50) with SPF15. This pump bottle of lightweight lotion is oil-free and contains natural UV filters to protect the skin from the sun. I found the product was extremely lightweight and easily applied with cotton wool all over the skin.
 
Lastly was the Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel (125ml tube £10.50). By morning, I applied to my face after splashing with cold water, to awaken and refresh first thing in the morning. Its silky texture was really refreshing in the morning, and it really cleansed my face.

Aimed at cleansing, when rinsed off, I noticed the last few patches of make up rinsing down the sink. And I thought I'd removed it all the night before, I thought. When used at night with warm water, as directed, the product removed all my face make up and powder like a dream. It was caring yet cleansing, and I didn't go to bed feeling the product was too harsh on my skin.
 
The Daily Energizer range is a great find, and it's a real treat to be able to come across a skincare range aimed at this age group. I normally don't religiously stick to a skincare range as I feel sometimes using too many products can cause unsightly blemishes (and although I did notice a couple of spots after using the range), my skin felt totally cleansed and soft every day after use.
