I tried Unreal’s Bronzing Mousse, in light/medium. The tan aims to provide a subtle glow during the colder months, giving flawless and naturally smooth skin without tell-tale signs of fake tan. With no alcohol or fragrance, the product was easily applied and gave a subtle hint of colour. It was definitely lighter than tanning products I tend to use during the summer months, and provided me with a healthy glow.
I also tried the Facial Bronzing Gel, and whilst facial tanners are usually sticky, oily and drag on the skin, I found this one easy to apply. The only problem was the colour, my face went pink! During a bit of a pampering session, I applied the tanning mousse to my body and the gel to my face in a bid to banish my dull skin. Whilst my bronzed body was looking flawless and even, I found the facial gel was really odd coloured, and my face didn’t match my body. The next day, the colour was okay, but I wasn’t overly impressed.
My body stayed glowing for more than 10 days, much longer than my usual tanner. This was great for me, because it meant I could juggle meetings, parties, dinners and drinks for nearly two weeks without my usual “I should apply my tan tonight so that by the weekend I’ll look tanned...” dilemma. I was really impressed with how the tan stayed put, and when the time came to scrub it off, it lifted without a problem and my skin didn’t feel dry.
The Unreal Bronzing Mousse will definitely be my tanner of choice during the colder months, and even though colour isn’t expected at this time of the year, it’s a great product to add a healthy glow to otherwise dull wintery skin.
