British fashion designer Giles Deacon has been announced as the winner of the prestigious ANDAM International Grand Prize this week. The designer receives 160k euros enabling him to show his collection in Paris from this October.

In addition, Swiss-born jewellery designer Ligia Dias was awarded with the Young Fashion Designer Award, receiving a grant of 20k euros. This is the 20th edition of the award, which last year heralded another British designer, Gareth Pugh, as its winner.
