Fashion brand Balenciaga has unveiled actress and singer/songwriter Charlotte Gainsbourg as the face of its debut fragrance. Gainsbourg, who appeared in the label's Fall 2008 campaign, fronts the worldwide roll out of the Coty Prestige scent from February 2010.

Creative Director of Balenciaga Nicolas Ghesquière says, 'It was very important for me to have Charlotte Gainsbourg personify my first Balenciaga fragrance. Her unique sense of style, her graceful and intense talent have always been very inspirational for me. This fruitful and long standing relationship Charlotte has with myself and the house of Balenciaga gives all its meaning to this project'.

Her latest film Antichrist, which she scooped the best actress accolade at this year's Cannes Film Festival for, released in the UK this month.
