Public Image Limited Reform For Winter Tour

John Lydon is set to revive Public Image Ltd. (PiL) for a series of gigs this winter.

The band, who have officially been on hiatus since 1992, will play a series of shows in December to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the group's seminal second album 'Metal Box'.

Lydon, the group's only constant member, will be joined by Damned guitarist Lu Edmonds, former Slits drummer Bruce Smith and bassist Scott Firth, who has worked with the likes of John Martyn and Elvis Costello.

For an exclusive interview with Lydon on the PiL revival get this week's issue of NME on UK newsstands from Wednesday (September 9).

PiL will play:

Birmingham O2 Academy (December 15)
Leeds O2 Academy (16)
Glasgow O2 Academy (18)
Manchester Academy (19)
London Brixton O2 Academy (21)
