Hussein Chalayan is set to launch his own range of footwear for spring 2010. Launched under Chalayan’s Hybrid moniker, the range of designs have street/sport aesthetic with echoes of more classic styles such as Chelsea boots as well as boat shoes.

Produced in cotton canvas or soft nubuck, standout styles include the espadrille, a slip-on trainer with extended elastic side insert, and a hi-top which crosses a desert boot with a traditional basketball boot. Wholesale prices range from £75-100.
