H&M Announces Collaboration With Sonia Rykiel

H&M Announces Collaboration With Sonia Rykiel

Just when you thought H&M couldn't get any better, they go and surprise us (again). The high street retailer who has been responsible for bringing the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Matthew Williamson to the high street at affordable prices, have got another designer collaboration in the pipeline.

This morning they announced that they are set to collaborate with French icon, Sonia Rykiel. An exclusive range of lingerie and accessories from the brand will be released in 1,500 H&M stores worldwide on the 5th December and will also be available in leading Sonia Rykiel boutiques. If that wasn't special enough, the collaboration marks the first time the high street chain has incorporated lingerie into a collaboration.

If you're a fan of Rykiel's quirky knitwear, don't worry because she hasn't forgotten about you. The second part of the collaboration, which will include knitwear for women and girls (aged 1 1/2 to 8 years old), will released on the 20th February.

If the success of the Matthew Williamson for H&M line is anything to go by, you might have a fight on your hands trying to get a hold of these pieces so make sure you get in there early.
