Florence and the Machines exquisite cover of Candi Stanton’s ‘You’ve Got The love’ rounds off what has been an exceptional 2009.

Florence has made the song her own with her killer version of this modern classic, playing as a triumphant set closer to massive crowds all summer long. Introducing YGTL to an army of young fans for the first time and giving older fans ones the chance to loose their minds all over again. This has lead to over 50,000 downloads of the single being plucked from the album already. ‘You’ve Got The Love’ has not left the singles chart since the album was released in early July. 

New talents The xx have put their own inimitable stamp on the track with what many are calling The Remix of the Year.
