The British Fashion Council has announced the appointment of designer Anya Hindmarch as Non-Executive Director to its board. Anya, who takes over the role from Hilary Riva who announced her departure earlier this month (rep'd Nov 1), joins Harold Tillman, Chairman; Caroline Rush, CEO; Simon Ward, COO; and Chris Inman, Treasurer.

Tillman says, 'Anya will make a great addition to our team. She brings with her huge experience from both the design and retail sector and will be invaluable as we move towards with our future plans.'
