Last night saw the winners announced for the 2011 Walpole Awards, recognising individuals and companies that exemplify British Excellence through their work and achievements.

Taking home the award for British Luxury Design Talent was Alexander McQueen, with Sarah Burton collecting the award; British Luxury Overseas went to Mulberry, while Mr Porter won the award for British Luxury Brand Online. Other winners included Victoria Beckham for Emerging British Luxury Brand, and Church's English Shoes for Best British Craftsmanship.
